COCK-SLAP of the MONTH - JUNE

I want to thank Clever Girl for her great suggestions, but the COCK-SLAP of the Month for JUNE is, leader of the Progressive Consevative Party of Canada:
Mr. Stephen Harper.

He won based on his stance:
"to forget about the Kyoto treaty",
the same stance which made George W. look like an even bigger asshole to the world, looks like Harper is following in his footprints.
According to our COCK-SLAP, the nerdly coiffed Harper; "the Kyoto Protocol a useless response to the 'national concern' of smog."
Wait just when you think he couldn't get any more fucken useless he goes on to say;
"Carbon dioxide, while linked to global warming, is not a threat to air quality," and the most idiotic bullshit to come out of this assholes face;
"Carbon dioxide does not cause or contribute to smog, and the Kyoto treaty would do nothing to reduce or prevent smog."

In a nutshell:
Pollution + Heat = SMOG
This means that reducing GREENHOUSE gas emissions (pay attention here Harper) as outlined in the KYOTO ACCORD, will have the benefit of reducing pollutants which if the cock-slap looks at the equation above would reduce SMOG!

Mr. Harper air pollution and climate change are not separate issues!!!

Here is more of Mr. Harper's sheer brilliance:
"I think we should take it seriously, but the Kyoto targets which would see Canada reduce (carbon dioxide) targets by 30 per cent -- the only country in the world that has agreed to any kind of similar reductions -- I just think is not realistic."

Perhaps the opposite is true, maybe CANADA is yet again being a LEADER in the world!

But Stephen said "the science is still evolving". TRANSLATION: let's do what we want and delay looking after the environment because after all we don't have all the scientific answers, so let's DO NOTHING!!!

This left me with no alternative then to award MR. STEPHEN HARPER with ENVIRONMENTAL ASSHOLE AWARD too because he criticized opposition to offshore oil and gas drilling off B.C.'s Pacific coast, saying it would be economically disastrous for B.C.

Yet again taking the corporate attitude of lets make money and FUCK the ENVIRONMENT, which people find so endearing and trusting in politicians!
