Jesus in the Theatre!!!

For those of you in Toronto, looking for good theatre. I strongly recommend you check out Stephen Adly Guirgis'(written for NYPD Blue and the Sopranos) play:
Jesus Hopped The 'A' Train
It is incredible. The Dialogue. The scenes. The intensity, and The Acting.

I am biased because a good friend of mine is in this show and he is stellar. I know that Paolo Mancini who plays the lead Angel Cruz, is a great comedic actor, but whoa! HE brings his dramatic chops to life in this role. Rothaford Gray, is flawless as Lucius Jenkins. Steve Coomes who has the least amount of stage time, takes us home with his monologue near the end.

Soon to be on Broadway in NYC, check it out while it's in TO in a cool space.
