The Contender

2 years ago there was this great TV show called The Contender which Stallone produced and starred in, and I was dissappointed when it wasnt picked up again. Well it's back on the air and it's great. You get to see a glimpse in a boxers life and how they think and their families and stuff like that and then you get to see them fight each other, so there's more vested interest in the matches. I recommend.

Wicked Sweet

My friend Chad Doucette is one of the contestants on the balls show Canadian Idol hosted by none other than: "Balls on my Chin" Mulroney. Chad is from Nova Scotia, when I was doing a show in Halifax I heard him singing in a local bar, the kid has pipes plays the guitar, keyboards and writes his own music to boot, he graciously helped me out in a show I was doing, which means not only does he have talent but the kid's a stand-up guy. Last night he sang "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls and he did a kick ass job!!
Just wanted to say: Way to go Chad!!! Hopefully he'll make it tonight into the Top 10 and go even further. So be on the look out for Chad Doucette, and Vote for him.

Another Great Fringe show!

This is a brilliant one man show by a guy who truly is remarkable with his impersonations. You definately want to check out this show. It's getting five stars up the ass everywhere. But I say see it before Brian Froud takes off for Hollywood, or before he ruins his voice by snorting too much coke off a whore's ass (second time i've used this reference this month, I think I'm just in that kinda mood these days).

Folks the Toronto Fringe Festival is starting tonight!

Italy vs. Germany

I think anyone who watched the game yesterday, has to admit that both teams played exceptionally well. Germany can definately hold their head up high as the match was great to watch and thankfully did not have to go into penalty kicks, while very dramatic to watch a balls way to win or lose. Let's see how France vs. Portugal pans out.
